Four or so months ago, when I couldn’t find my Coby MP3 player, I was surprised to find that my 10 year old daughter had borrowed it. Until that moment, I’d never really seen her display much interest in music, in spite of the rest of us practically living with a Coby MP3 player with us at all times. I asked her at that time if she would like to have one of her own, and she really didn’t say much about it. Since then, I’ve found her listening to my Coby MP3 player on several other occasions. I definitely don’t mind her using it, but I figured if she loves music that much, then maybe it was time for her own. I was online browsing for a birthday gift for a classmate of my son’s yesterday and came across a great price on a Coby MP3 player so decided to order it. I didn’t tell her, and will let it be a surprise. When it arrives, I first want to put some music on it, and then afterwards we’ll add some new songs together. I know she’s going to love it, even if she’s been shy about showing her growing love for music.
